Home and Business Security Camera Registration

The City of Brookville Police Department is excited to offer our new Home and Business Security Camera Program. If you have a home or business video system and are willing to share the location of those cameras with the Brookville Police Department, simply scan the QR code and register for our program. When a crime or suspicious activity has occurred in your area, we will contact you and request that you search your camera system to see if any evidence was captured and can be shared with law enforcement officers. If your video system is registered, the police would only request archived video on a case-by-case basis.

When a crime has been committed in our community, we know that seconds, minutes, and hours matter! This program will Help Us Help You! Although our officers remain vigilant, we want to take proactive steps in preventing crime and having the ability to identify and prosecute offenders who commit crimes in our community. By simply letting us know that you are potentially willing to share your video with us to solve crimes more quickly, you are making our community a safer place to live, work, and worship. If you have any questions or would like to register your cameras in person, feel free to contact Chief Douglas Jerome djerome@brookvilleohio.com or Major Tom Simon tsimon@brookvilleohio.com at 937-833-2001.
